Reinforcement of compliance activities
Our group has been consistently conducting business activities in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Emphasizing the importance of compliance activities for further enhancement of the corporate value, in June, 2006, we established “Compliance Committee” chaired by the President of the company to this end. Each affiliated company of the group also established its “Compliance Committee” in line with the Group policy.
Group basic policies on compliance
Recognizing our social responsibilities as an integrated logistics provider, we define “compliance” as conducting business activities fully in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, internal rules and policies, maintaining high business ethics. We are committed to promoting “compliance”, placing higher priority on the full implementation of this “compliance” in our “Corporate Code of Conduct” and “Code of Conduct for employees and executive officers”.

Introduction of “Compliance Hotline”
We started the operation of the Compliance Hotline in Aug. 2006 as a resource for employees to report concerns and seek guidance about possible violation of laws and internal policies, and allow the Group to swiftly respond to potential risks of such possible violations. The Hotline is available to all Vantec Group employees such as full-time and part-time employees, officers, temporary staff and etc. The Hotline allows them to report any concerns about possible violations of laws and internal rules by e-mail and telephone. These reports are delivered to CSR Department of VANTEC. A contracted outside law firm also has a Hotline contact window to them. When a report is received, the Compliance Committee shall organize an investigation and take necessary corrective measures if required. The callers will be protected from any possibility of recrimination.
