The Vantec Group, whose core businesses are automotive logistics and freight forwarding services, is no exception. In response to this crisis, Vantec Group Holdings Corporation will merge (merged) its consolidated subsidiaries, Vantec Corporation and Vantec World Transport Co., Ltd., effective as of April 1, 2009, to synchronize our two main businesses.

We endeavor to improve cost efficiency by unifying administrative functions or operating bases to build up our financial basis as well as strengthen our sales organization to expand our business opportunities. We focus on the following 5 strategies on the medium-term management plan to be a world leading logistics service provider; 1) Strengthening our global supply chain management (SCM) logistics by further emphasizing our comprehensive line of hybrid logistics services, covering contract logistics and freight forwarding services, 2) Expanding overseas business opportunities, 3) Developing integrated forwarding services for land / sea / air freight, 4) Making strategic use of IT, 5) Seeking for M&A prospects
